EWF Training Camp & Scientific Seminar is over in Ventspils Olympic Centre Latvia

EWF Training Camp & Scientific Seminar is over in Ventspils Olympic Centre Latvia.
Thirty-seven athletes, seventeen coaches and three EWF Officials attended the events from eleven EWF Member Federations.
Name of coaches are as follows:
David Havmand (DEN), Rene Schütt Larsen (DEN), BAŠKIROV Igor (EST), Sosnovski Anatoli (EST), Moilanen Ari (FIN), Vartiainen Leena (FIN), Ingi Gunnar Ólafsson (ICE), Eyþór Ingi Einarsson (ICE), Eric Bates (IRL), Kafri Ron (ISR), Arian Zogu (KOS), Larisa Ceku (KOS), Bērzons Ulvis (LAT), Berezovs Artūrs (LAT), Norvilas Regimantas (LTU), Liabina Elena (RUS), Mikhailovsky Vitaly (RUS).
EWF Officials are;

Colin Buckley-EWF Chairman of Coaching Research & Scientific Committee,
Eduards Andruskevics-EWF Member of Coaching Research & Scientific Committee,
The weightlifters came from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Kosova, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia, average age of weightlifters is 16,3 years old.
Young weightlifters start day early morning with exercises in Ventspils stadium then after breakfast they go to weightlifting centre for morning session training. Afternoon training sessions start at 15:00 and after dinner coaches attend the daily seminar at the hotel.
From Latvian Anti-Doping Bureau Mr. Janis Hahelis gave one-night Anti-Doping courses to all athletes and coaches.
During the training camp coaches share their personal experiences with each other.
EWF thanks to member federation for sending their national coaches and athletes to the EWF Training Camp & Scientific Seminar and thanks to Latvian Anti-Doping Bureau for supporting EWF activity in Ventspils.

EWF will organize South Europe Training Camp & Scientific Seminar between 24th -30th September 2018 in Valencia-Spain.
